The new year has started in a good way. Over the last few months we saw God bless in several ways.
1. We were approved for career service to return to Costa Rica in an indefinite status.
2. We were able to visit several of our existing supporters and several potential new ones.
3. We were able to spend the Christmas with family and friends.
As we head into this new year we ask you pray for our travels. That we will be able to see God’s hand continue to work in a mighty way and that we will be able to soon return to Costa Rica to continue our work in Central America.

 We have come to the end of our time as TEAM (Short Term) missionaries in Costa Rica and are headed back to the US to seek approval as career missionaries to return back to Costa Rica.
We had originally planned for a 2 year stay but we had the opportunity to stay for an additional 6 months while the rest of our team was on furlough in the US. Our time in Costa Rica has been an extraordinary period of challenges and growth filled with example after example of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
Please pray as we return to the states for approval and to raise our additional needed support. During our time in the US we will also be available and would love to visit as many of our current supporters as possible.

We just finished our 4 week Christmas series called, ¿Que te trajo el Niño? Which would translate to What did the Child bring you? This what they say in Costa Rica in stead of what did Santa bring you? We took this as an opportunity to take an element of culture and speak in to this season that is often full of sadness and despair and were able to talk about all that Christ brought to us by come to our world and bringing salvation and purpose to our lives.

The congregation that has been meeting in a rented home for the last few years was able to move this month to a new location. god has blessed us with a great meeting place that was made even better by the hard work of many nationals and helpers from the States.
We pray that God will use this new location to open up more opportunities to see new Disciples com to our Lord Jesus.
